Celebrating 50 years of The Charlton Society

On Friday October 30th, The Charlton Society launched its Golden Anniversary Village Street Exhibition, celebrating 50 years of The Charlton Society; it features many pictures of Charlton Village over the decades, centuries even, and are displayed in various shops in the Village. The event was attended by the Mayor of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, Cllr Linda Bird.

Please go and have look, it is a wonderful example of the community spirit that exists in Charlton Village.

The Charlton Society wishes to extend thanks to all the many participating shops.
